Vyke today announced it has formed a partnership with mobile social networking company Nimbuzz.
The move is intended to build upon the strengths of both Vyke and Nimbuzz by combining the former’s paid mVoIP service with the latter’s mobile peer to peer mobile social messaging and VoIP services.
Netherlands-based Nimbuzz’s service is currently growing at well over 20,000 new users per day.
Kjetil Bøhn, CEO of Vyke, said the strategic partnership would allow Vyke to address Nimbuzz’s growing and loyal user base with its paid mVoIP services.
He said it would add a new and high-potential sales channel to Vyke’s existing distribution structure.
"This sales channel also positions Vyke to benefit from the high growth rate enjoyed by Nimbuzz’s mobile services," he said.
